Enjoy Queen Sivlia feeling as long as you can ... can feel different when you are at home again ;-)

At last the day come when we would depart for the oasis Siwa. First we had some things to do. We would meet with the governor translators, Shaban, and the school director who is responsible for the schools in Siwa, and who is also responsible for our school visits. The first meeting went well, others worse. We did however see two schools and a variety of curious schoolchildren. Never thought it would feel like Queen Silvia, but when streets lined with waving children to get motion back in the same way the queen, and the feeling biglots of being important is wonderful. Several hours late without xx we ate lunch at a restaurant where we had to take off our shoes, sit on the floor and eating food with hands, talk about culture shock. When all paper from the school director was ready, we began our journey to Siwa, a number of hours delayed. 30 mil through the desert we had ahead of us, and when the clock was very, walked most of the trip in the dark. The driver was very tired and drove about 130 km per hour. Lotta had received on their lot to keep him awake by feeding him nuts, and she was always prepared to take over the steering wheel. Once in Siwa, we live in an absolutely beautiful hotel, built in mud and palm trees. Cosiness is as high as it can be and it now feels really good to be in Egypt. Now the mosquitoes that eat us up so we have to stop. Good night!
