I have an events company called Fire and Water Events LLC. We started in 2008 with the Ultramaraton Fire and Water. An event of 50km and 100km in Isla de Ometepe Nicaragua. In 2007 and 2008, after running a few ultras, I knew that one of my favorite places in the world, Ometepe Island Nicaragua, was an ideal place to make an ultra event. I studied sociology in college and had already done work with World Trade Federation and NGO's like. I started traveling to Ometepe in order to create an event of high difficulty.
