Robert coopvoce Doisneau (Gentilly, Montrouge 1912, 1994) devoted 40 years of his life to photographing the now defunct Parisian market Les Halles. The 200 photographs that complete the series of "Les Halles" coopvoce on display from February 8 to April 28 in the center of Paris Hôtel de Ville.
Doisneau, whose best-known coopvoce photograph is effusive kiss after the liberation of Paris by the allies, he devoted much of his life to portray the people and the most famous landmarks of Paris. It began as an industrial photographer, working for the Renault car factory until he was fired for repeated absences and bad behavior. Since then his photographs portray inanimate objects passed to reflect the lifestyle of the people and Parisians spaces.
The exhibition "Doisneau: Le Halles" shows how life passed in the old market hall in Paris. The photographer began taking the first photographs in 1933, showing all kinds of motley sujeros coopvoce that passed by the market.
