The places from where they were taken "as two snapshots", the works of Gilbert (G) and Lhermitte (L). Beside a plane and an aerial photograph (Roger Henrard, 1952) Les Halles where points from where they were "seen" the areas represented in both cases are reported. Gilbert's painting is executed 17 years earlier than Lhermitte. In blue, the paint by Lhermitte, from the angle of market Hall 8 at the intersection of Rue Berger with Rue Baltard, towards Punta de San Eustaquio, where besides the Church also is the mouth of Rue Montmartre; coinciding in part with the bottom of the work of Gilbert No.1. At the end of main and cross street of the Halles, right, the corner of Hall No. 7 in the Rue Rambuteau, where the work of Gilbert (G2) is located, whose representation is filled magenta to the Rue Pirouette.
