Man has become sams the place to the ground to represent the Lord, to be His vicegerent. This is the purpose of the creation of mankind. The Viceroy was in the role of caregiver, and consequently responsible for the changes sams in the earth and to use its resources, which këkorhet do with justice for ourselves and all humanity (Kamali, 2003). While nature is the test for man, the latter is instructed to read its signs to understand God. For this reason and to fulfill their mission as vicegerent of God, Muslims developed natural sciences.
This duty includes the responsibility to man the resources that God has given. Above all, the concept of Islam on transcendent knowledge includes knowledge and rational knowledge, based on reason and observation. Consequently, all of the knowledge gained through scientific studies aim to use natural resources for the good of humanity and increase sams their welfare (Kamali, 2003). sams So there is justice and compassion for all. Therefore, all efforts of scientists must approach ethical and theological values and Islamic standards.
In Islam, such as nature it has a purpose: the man to know God and then to use the good nature of mankind. Nature can be used to provide food for man, and its benefits should be distributed equally among the people. Some activities can harm the man, and as a result damage to nature is prohibited. Destruction of natural balances challenged, as, for example, unnecessary killing of animals or relocation of plants, things that can trigger hunger due to lack of food. This study is an extension of the reason why man is brought to earth as God's vicegerent (Faruki, 2006; Zaidi, 1991; Said, 1989). In modern times, Muslim scholars supporting the scientists who are motivated by these core values when undertaking any discovery.
Islamic perspective on nature is rooted in the Qur'an, the word of God. Following paragraphs, taken from the Koran, illustrating the relationship of man and nature, and how this relationship inspired sams Muslim scholars to study natural phenomena, to understand God (Wersal, 1995). Also, the following paragraphs sams show how the Qur'an presents the entire universe:
"Verily, in the creation of the heavens and the Earth, in exchange of the night the day, the ships that sail through the sea to benefit people in the water that Allah descends from the sky, sparking through his land dead distributing all kinds of animal species; sams the movement of winds and clouds that stand between heaven and Earth, so in all these, there are certainly signs for people of intellect. "(Al-Baqara, 164)
Thus humanity is inspired to study and understand nature in view of its goals. It is to highlight the empirical attitude of the Qur'an which caused humility among his followers, sams and as a result made them the founder of a society of enlightened (Iqbal, 1986). This approach sams to nature led to the scholars of the era of so-called Golden Age of Islam to undertake scientific initiatives that were finalized in a large corpus of scientific discoveries that time.
Western sams perspective sams on nature after the scientific revolution implied by the slogan: "No trace of the divine can not be distinguished in the natural world." (Peters, 2003, p. 33) As a consequence, any scientific unanimity was achieved by the Islamic civilization, which existed in Europe "was set aside by the rise of modern science" (Nasr, 1996, p. 129) Here's what Seyyed Hossein Nasr, writes sams in his thesis of religion and the order of nature (1996, p. 133):
"The transition from the theory that cosmic order and law is created by the will of God and is a function of man and nature, on the theory sams that the" law of nature "is all human invention reason sams identified with mathematical laws and that is separated from the ethical laws spiritual, that a radical transformation that played a leading role for the establishment of modern science. This natural law theory also eklipsoi worldview of Christianity on the subject, sams although later theologians tried to "krishterizonin" scientific concept sams of the seventeenth century to the laws of nature. It is interesting to note that this approach was not embraced by other civilizations with a long scientific tradition, such as Chinese, Indian, and Islamic, and this holds great significance in the modern West division of other civilizations
